Alvise Spinazzi

Alvise Spinazzi graduated in law at the University of Padua, before specialising with an LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law at Fordham University School of Law in New York. He specialises in national and international corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate and general contracts. He practices law both in Italy (since 2001) and the United States (since 2000), in the State of New York; after a period working at the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, he expanded his experience at Studio Legale Chiomenti in Milan. He has acquired considerable experience assisting Italian companies operating abroad and foreign companies operating in Italy. He regularly assists entrepreneurs and investment funds with private equity operations. He speaks Italian, English and French.

Mario Azzarita

Mario Azzarita graduated in law at the University of Padua, before developing his professional experience at leading law firms in Padua and Vicenza and specialising in litigation. A lawyer since 2002, over the years he has developed and perfected his expertise primarily by providing assistance to companies, public corporations and public organisations in disputes relating to the management of manufacturing enterprises, commercial activities and service providers. In addition to relationships with suppliers and contractual partners, he offers assistance in matters of corporate litigation, unfair competition between businesses, directors’ and auditors’ liability in the management and control of companies, and relations with the banking system. With specific reference to the banking and financial sector, through his extensive experience and stable relationships with independent financial consulting firms, he provides assistance to private and institutional investors in disputes with banks and financial intermediaries.

Emiliano Troi

Emiliano Troi graduated in law at the University of Padua; as part of his education, he attended Columbia University in New York and the Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg, Germany. He has acquired extensive professional experience at leading law firms. A licensed lawyer since 2004, he operates in the administrative law field (in particular in the field of town planning and construction law and public procurement) providing specialised out-of-court assistance and managing litigation proceedings before administrative courts. He speaks Italian, English and German.

Silvio Genito

Silvio Genito gained his degree in Business Administration at the University of Venice and has been a Chartered Accountant and a Statutory Auditor since 1996. He worked as an auditor and management consultant at Ernst & Young for several years, and then at the correspondent tax and law firm Studio Associato Legale Tributario, where he specialised in taxation of financial institutions. He is a founding partner of a leading tax and corporate consulting firm, where he mainly dealt with tax and corporate advice with a focus on extraordinary operations, supporting entrepreneurs and investment funds in Private Equity or M&A operations. He hold several positions as statutory auditor and director in industrial and financial companies also listed. He speaks fluent English.

Silvia Gagno

Silvia Gagno graduated in law at the University of Parma, before attending the University of Trento where she attended the course on Advanced Studies in European and Transnational Law. A qualified lawyer since 2008, she has been an associate at Studio Legale Spinazzi Azzarita Troi since 2010 and mainly deals with national and international contracts, corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. She speaks Italian and English.

Costanza Semenzato

Costanza Semenzato graduated in law at the University of Padua. She has been an associate at Studio Legale Spinazzi Azzarita Troi since 2008, specialising in proceedings in ordinary courts. A qualified lawyer since 2005, she mainly deals with corporate litigation, providing assistance in relations with customers and suppliers and in credit management, both nationally and internationally. She has extensive experience in disputes related to commercial law, real estate, property leases and apartment buildings. She also deals with juridical cases of civil, medical, technical and professional responsibility and with problems related to insurance law. She is admitted to the Italian Supreme Court bar.

Matteo Vernizzi

Matteo Vernizzi graduated in law at the University of Padua; as part of his university education, he attended the University of California in the US and the Université Paris-XI in France. He also holds an LL.M. in European Law at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium). He mainly deals with national and international company law, mergers & acquisitions, and general contracts. A qualified lawyer in Italy since 2011, he trained at Studio Legale Spinazzi Azzarita Troi and the NCTM Studio Legale in Milan. He speaks Italian, English, French and German.

Andrea Battera

Andrea Battera graduated in Business and Economics at the University of Venice. He has been a Chartered Accountant and a Statutory Auditor since 1994. He has developed his professional experience working for the legal and tax consulting firms Ernest & Young, Andersen and Deloitte, dealing with extraordinary corporate operations, tax litigation, VAT and transfer pricing. He also gained valuable experience in the business field working over ten years as Managing Director and Head of Tax and Corporate Affairs for GlaxoSmithKline S.p.A. He speaks fluent English.
